CTS are excited to announce the Inspiring Real Futures Forum, to be held on Tuesday October 27 at the Treacy Centre in Parkville.
The Inspiring Real Futures 2015 forum will bring together stakeholders from specialist schools, further education and training providers, industry, community services providers and people committed to improving post school outcomes for young people with a disability from the North West region of Melbourne.
The keynote speaker, Zita Pinda will present the results of the 2015 Data Collection Project on post school destinations of students from specialist schools in Melbourne’s north west and then conduct a workshop and round table discussion on the use of data to drive improvements in post school transitions.
The Master of Ceremonies for the day will be Mike Spears, a former NBL basketballer who now works to inspire young people to achieve their potential.
Two specialist schools will present on how they have worked in partnership with their communities to develop opportunities for their students.
A range of small workshops will give participants the opportunity to explore some of the programs, resources and approaches available to those working to improving post school outcomes for young people with a disability.
