The Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) is a hands-on option for Year 11 and 12 students. Read more 
Vocation Education and Training (VET) are courses including training in job related and technical skills that you can do at school as apart of VCAL, or at TAFE, University, or training provider. Read more
School based Apprenticeships and Traineeships (SbAT)  are part-time apprenticeships and traineeships that are integrated into student’s school time-table. Read more
Funding opportunities during school including Futures for Young Adults, Transition to Employment and Special Consideration Entry Access Scheme. Read more

Further Education with TAFE and training leads to a qualification and the opportunity to learn practical skills for work. TAFE courses and training cater for a broad range of industries, and vary in qualification level and length of time needed to complete a course. Read more
Apprenticeships and Traineeships
Apprenticeships and Traineeships combine practical on-the-job work with structured training leading to a qualification needed for an occupation or trade. Read more

Further Education at University leads to a degree qualification and academic training required to work in a specific industry.
